The Real Problem
You’re Not Broken. You’re Under-Optimized.
Sometimes the hardest part is not knowing why you feel different.
Maybe you’re more tired than usual, finding it harder to stay motivated, or noticing changes in your physical health. You’ve tried making changes, but something still doesn’t feel quite right.
You deserve more than a rushed conversation or a one-size-fits-all answer.
At Action TRT, your concerns matter. You’ll have the opportunity to share what you’ve been experiencing, ask questions, and explore possible explanations for your symptoms.
Your health journey starts here.

- 60–90 minute initial consultation
- Comprehensive bloodwork (23+ biomarkers)
- Individualized protocol design
- Monthly review and adjustment
- Direct access to our team
- Continuous refinement based on symptoms and labs

Our Model
Built for Precision, Not Insurance Quotas
We do not operate under insurance-driven time constraints.
That allows us to:
- Spend meaningful time with patients
- Run comprehensive panels
- Adjust protocols without delay
- Focus on long-term outcomes
We are not the lowest cost TRT option in Southern California. We are one of the most comprehensive.
For men who value precision, oversight, and results, that distinction matters.

How do I know if I have low testosterone?
The most reliable way to assess testosterone levels is through comprehensive blood work that evaluates total testosterone, free testosterone, SHBG, and related biomarkers. However, symptoms like persistent fatigue, reduced libido, brain fog, mood instability, and loss of muscle mass are common indicators. Many men are told their labs are ‘normal’ based on broad reference ranges — but optimal and normal are not the same. A thorough clinical evaluation correlates your symptoms with your lab values to determine whether intervention is appropriate.
How long does TRT take to work?
Everyone responds to testosterone replacement therapy differently.
Some men with confirmed testosterone deficiency may notice improvements in certain symptoms after beginning treatment, while others may experience more gradual changes or limited benefits.
You’ll receive guidance on what you can realistically expect, along with follow-up care to evaluate how your body responds to treatment.
Is TRT covered by insurance?
Action TRT operates as a private, concierge medical practice. We do not bill insurance directly, but we can provide documentation and superbills that patients may submit to their insurance provider for potential reimbursement. Our concierge model allows us to provide the highest level of individualized care without the limitations and constraints of insurance-driven protocols.
Will TRT shut down natural testosterone production?
Yes, exogenous testosterone therapy does suppress the body’s natural production through the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis. This is a well-understood physiological response and is managed as part of any responsible TRT protocol. For patients who may wish to discontinue therapy in the future — or who are concerned about fertility — we discuss these considerations upfront and can incorporate supportive therapies such as hCG into the protocol when clinically appropriate.
How often do I need labs?
During the initial optimization phase, we typically evaluate labs at baseline, 6–8 weeks after starting treatment, and then monthly as we refine your protocol. Once your levels are stable and optimized, lab frequency may be adjusted to every 2–3 months. We track 25+ biomarkers over time — not just testosterone — to ensure comprehensive health monitoring including cardiovascular, metabolic, and hematological markers.
Do I need injections?
Injectable testosterone is the most common and clinically effective delivery method for TRT, offering consistent and controllable dosing. However, we evaluate each patient individually and may consider alternative delivery methods based on clinical factors, patient preference, and treatment goals. The method of delivery is always discussed during your initial consultation.
